Hi! I am the new Gender Pathways Coordinator at Children’s Mercy. Looking to update our resources – can you tell me of any support groups for LGBTQIA youth, parents or allies that current meet? That would be great! Thank you.
We have 3 meetings each month. The 2nd Sunday at 3-5 PM at Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, the 3rd Wednesday of each month at The Winc Inclusion Center in Independence MO at 7-8 PM and the 4th Monday of each month at Unity of North Kansas City on Barry Rd., at 7-8 PM. There is going to be a new youth group starting in March and I will be posting that on this page shortly! Hope this is helpful!
